I am mystified after reading the other reviews! Works well even under the heavy-clumsy-hands of a 3 year old boy. My 3 yr old grandson got a million toys for Christmas and this was his favorite. We bought extra metal-cast disney “Cars” and even Mater races around the track! Although not all the cars worked well on the track, you just have to experiment for the best racers (all the McQueens worked well). Cars take the jump with ease. Really need to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS when assembling and the track supports are a bit flimsy but works fine sitting on carpet. Been running almost non-stop for several days and batteries still good. We paid $30 and are VERY satisfied with the value of our purchase.

This was NOT an easy toy to put together. Some of the parts were very hard to get to snap together. This was frustrating, because it only held my son’s attention for an hour and then he stepped on it and it fell apart. It hasn’t been back together since, and he hasn’t missed it. I really regret buying it.

My 4-year old son who is a huge Cars fan wanted this for several months leading up to Christmas. Santa left it for him and after about 15 minutes of playing with it he was done. He’s played with it only twice since then (it’s March 14th) and every time I look at it, I wish I never bought it. Like another reviewer said, only the Lightening that comes with it works well on the track, all the die-cast cars he has (Chick, Mr. King, No Stall, etc) are heavier and often do not make it around the track (very frustrating for my son). Oh, and when the track is on, it’s really loud. Spend your money on a toy that is going to be played with for many hours, not this one!

Very good item!! I have to say my son loves the Theme Disney Cars and this item very simple and easy for even an 1 year old to play with. Shipping was fast!

Purchased this for my 5 year old grandson as a Christmas present. He loves it. But like anything it doesn’t take long to get bored. He does come back to play with it during the day. Little hard to put together. Snapping the pieces together. It’s not flimsy but it is not the most sturdy track. Especially for a 5 year old. Best if put together and setup in a place where it doesn’t have to be moved.
