This is an awesome toy. The attention to detail is impeccable. This car is not idiot proof, as the other reviewers have pointed out, but anyone with half a brain should be able to figure out an rc car if you don’t give up after the first try.
HIghly recommended.

This toy ruined my son’s Christmas. We did everything the directions said, but it just won’t work. It won’t drive at all with the remote. The only thing it will do is function in Explore mode, which basically means it runs around hitting things. How do I explain taking it back to Target when he thinks it came from Santa?

The most important thing I can say about this RC buggy is that it doesn’t steer as it should using the front wheels. Instead, a fifth wheels pops down from its underbelly and then the two rear wheels move at different speeds and directions to steer the car around on that fifth swivel wheel. Not particularly fun if you’re expecting this to be like a normal RC car.

This doesn’t perform as its states………. No button works except explore button. When you press Explore its just start working on its on. Thats it………

My 4 year old son received this toy from “Santa” for Christmas this year and absolutely loves it. It seems to drive just fine and looks exactly like the RC from the movie. I like that it has no trouble driving all over my carpeted home.
